Robert Claxton: Collection on Allende's Chile, 1971 - 1974

Collection Guide

Prepared by Ruth Olivera, February 1991; revised July 1998.

The collection contains material relating to the period in which Salvador Allende was in power in Chile, 1970 - 1973. Included are periodicals with articles on Allende, pamphlets, clippings, and LP records. Most are written from a strong socialist point of view and are supportive of Allende. The original collection included a number of newspapers and books which have been transferred elsewhere, as noted.

Books

The following book was cataloged into the regular LAL collection:
