The Handbook of Latin American Studies (HLAS) is a bibliography on Latin America consisting of scholarly works selected and annotated by scholars. Edited by the Hispanic Division of the Library of Congress, and continuously published since 1936, the multidisciplinary Handbook alternates annually between the social sciences and the humanities. Updated weekly, HLAS Online provides rapid, comprehensive access to future, current, and retrospective volumes of the Handbook.

The Hispanic American Periodicals Index (HAPI) provides complete bibliographic citations to the contents of scholarly journals published around the world on Latin America and the Caribbean and Latinos in the United States since 1970. Coverage includes social sciences, arts and humanities. HAPI currently indexes over 380 journals and includes the contents of over 675 journals dating back to the 1970s.

Historical Abstracts is a bibliographic database containing citations to articles on the history of the world from 1450 to the present (excluding the United States and Canada). Published since 1954, Historical Abstracts currently indexes over 2,000 journals published throughout the world. In addition to including the key historical journals from virtually every major country, Historical Abstracts includes a targeted selection of hundreds of journals in the social sciences and humanities that are of special interest to researchers and students of history. MLA International Bibliography provides a subject index for books and articles published on modern languages, literatures, folklore, and linguistics. It is compiled by the staff of the MLA Office of Bibliographic Information Services with the cooperation of more than 100 contributing bibliographers in the United States and abroad. The MLA International Bibliography Online annually indexes over 66,000 books and articles.

PAIS International provides coverage of public affairs, public and social policies, and international relations, covering 1914 to the present. PRISMA Publicaciones y Revistas Sociales y HumanĂ­sticas(link) is an annotated index providing 165 full-text scholarly journals and more than 580 titles in the social sciences and humanities for the interdisciplinary academic study of Hispanic and Latin America and the Caribbean Basin covering 1991-Present.
